International Gold Event (IGE)
What is the International Gold Event (IGE)?
The International Gold Event (IGE) is a transformative personal development opportunity designed to empower the next generation of Award ambassadors. It is open to Gold Award holders aged 18 to 28, who have been specially selected for demonstrating their potential to make a meaningful impact on the Award, both in their country and internationally.
For Operators, IGE is more than just an event—it is a strategic investment in future leadership. Participants will engage in an intensive learning program focused on influencing change, impactful communication, and driving strategic development at national and global levels. They will gain the skills and confidence to advocate for the Award, champion non-formal education, and lead initiatives on the issues that matter most to them and their peers.
Uniquely, IGE 2025 participants will also attend Forum, allowing them to apply their learning in real-time discussions and contribute directly to shaping the future of the Award. This year’s IGE will also mark the launch of our Global Youth Ambassador programme, offering continued training and opportunities for selected participants over the next three years. Many past IGE participants have gone on to become National Directors, Chairs, and key supporters of the Award, demonstrating the long-term impact of this invaluable experience.
